Regulatory Board
Unique to Missouri: Missouri has some of the lowest exam fees in the country ($29-$35) and only requires 16 CE hours per renewal cycle (vs. the more common 24 hours). The state does not require pre-licensing education. However, as of May 2025, remote exams are no longer available, requiring all candidates to test in person. Missouri uses MACHS for fingerprinting rather than the IdentoGO system used by many other states.
