When you browse LicenseMap without purchasing anything, we collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This includes page views, referring URLs, device type, and anonymized demographic information. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from free visitors.

Roadmap Guide users

When you request a personalized licensing roadmap, we collect:

• Email address (required) — to deliver your roadmap and send occasional licensing tips
• Name (optional) — to personalize your roadmap
• Profession and state — to generate your roadmap
• Target start date — to customize your timeline

Cookies

We use analytics cookies through Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. We do not currently use advertising or remarketing cookies.

Roadmap request records (email, profession, state, request date) are retained for service improvement and customer support purposes.

Email addresses collected through our site are retained until you request deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us (see Contact below).

LicenseMap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
