This Privacy Policy explains how BDV LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit getlicensemap.com (“GetLicenseMap,” “the Site”) or use our products and services.
When you browse GetLicenseMap without purchasing anything, we collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This includes page views, referring URLs, device type, and anonymized demographic information. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from free visitors.

If you request roadmaps for multiple professions or states, we store all of them associated with your email address.
IP addresses are logged temporarily by our rate limiting system to prevent abuse of our API endpoints. These logs are stored in Upstash Redis and automatically expire after one hour. IP addresses are also processed transiently by Vercel (our hosting provider) to route and serve requests.
We use analytics cookies through Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. We do not currently use advertising or remarketing cookies.

We participate in affiliate programs with the following education and exam-prep providers. When you click an affiliate link, information may be shared with these partners including IP address, browser type, and referring URL, subject to their own privacy policies.
Roadmap request records (email, profession, state, request date) are retained for service improvement and customer support purposes.
Rate limiting data (IP addresses) expires automatically after one hour. Nurture email tracking data (hashed identifiers) expires after the nurture sequence completes.
Email addresses collected through our site are retained until you request deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us (see Contact below).

GetLicenseMap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
