Montana requires separate Property and Casualty exams (no combined P&C exam). Property exam: 92 questions (82 scored, 10 pretest), 2 hours. Casualty exam: 97 questions (87 scored, 10 pretest), 2 hours 15 minutes. You must score 75% on EACH section (general and state) separately—scores are not averaged. Exam scores valid for 1 year. Both in-person and remote (OnVUE) testing available.
