Unique to Utah: Utah is one of the few states that uses Prometric as its exam provider (most states use Pearson VUE or PSI). Despite not requiring pre-licensing education, Utah requires all resident applicants to be fingerprinted. Utah also uniquely requires that 12 of the 24 CE hours be classroom or classroom-equivalent courses, making it one of the states with classroom CE requirements.
