Notes
Wyoming has a traditional apprentice/journeyman/master licensing structure administered by the Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety under the State Fire Marshal's Office. Wyoming is the only state of the five studied that has adopted the 2023 NEC (effective July 1, 2023). Wyoming is also a monopolistic workers' compensation state — WC must be purchased through the Wyoming Workers' Compensation Division, not private insurers.
