24 credit hours of CE per biennial renewal cycle, including 3 hours of ethics. Excess credits cannot be carried over. Course credit may only be applied toward renewal if completed within the current renewal cycle. Certificates of completion must be retained for 3 years.
Regulatory Board
Unique to Washington: Washington is one of the few states that does not require pre-licensing education. It uses the term 'Disability' instead of 'Health' for the health insurance line. Non-resident applicants are exempt from fingerprinting requirements.
