Failure to renew by December 31 requires full relicensure, not just late renewal. As of July 1, 2020, the Board of Examiners is the only licensing body for SLPs; the PTSB no longer issues SLP licenses, even for school-based practitioners. The clinical fellowship has flexible part-time options (minimum 5 hours per week) but strict timelines: must start within 2 years and finish within 3.5 years of degree conferral. The Board office no longer accepts walk-ins due to permanent building lockdown.
