Indiana uses Ivy Tech Community College (not a national testing company) for CNA competency exams. The written exam has 100 questions with an 80% passing requirement. There are no age or education prerequisites for enrollment, and Indiana has a unique Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) add-on certification. Out-of-state CNAs must take the written exam even for reciprocity.
