The Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact (OT Compact) allows OTAs to practice across member states with a compact privilege. Non-compact states may accept out-of-state credentials through endorsement or require a full application.
North Dakota requires OTAs with fewer than 1,650 practice hours to have on-site supervision with the supervising OT physically present on the premises. A Jurisprudence exam and Substantiation of Supervision Form are required at each biennial renewal. Late renewals after June 1 incur a $100 late fee.
