Texas is one of few states that requires passage of a jurisprudence examination at every renewal cycle (not just initial licensure), and mandates human trafficking prevention training as a renewal requirement under state law.
Texas requires 3,000 supervised hours with 1,500 direct counseling hours over minimum 18 months.
