To get a Delaware real estate license in 2026, you must complete 99 hours of Delaware Real Estate Commission-approved pre-licensing education, pass a background check, take and pass the Pearson VUE licensing exam, and find a sponsoring broker. Most applicants finish in 8–16 weeks and spend $480–$831 including course tuition.

70% passing score on both sections. Pass rate approximately 56% (Q1 2025). Test centers in Dover and Newark; additional centers in MD, PA, NJ. Must clear DPR background check before Pearson VUE releases exam authorization.
