Complete 75-Hour Pre-Licensing Course: Enroll in an NJREC-approved 75-hour salesperson pre-licensing course (online or in-person).
Schedule and Pass the PSI Exam: Register via PSI website or call 855-579-4624. Pay $45 exam fee. Pass combined exam with 70% overall (77/110 correct).
Complete Fingerprinting: Schedule at an IDEMIA/IdentoGO location. Cost: $66.05. Must be done in NJ if you live/work/attend school there.
Find a Sponsoring Broker: Secure affiliation with a licensed NJ broker who will submit your application.
Submit Application via Sponsoring Broker: Broker submits application to NJREC with $160 fee. Processing: ~10 business days.
