Complete 75-Hour Pre-License Course: Enroll in and pass a GREC-approved 75-hour Salesperson Pre-License Course. Must score 75%+ on proctored school exam.
Get Fingerprinted: Visit a GAPS location for fingerprinting. Obtain Certified Criminal History Report from GCIC within 60 days of application. Cost: ~$38.25.
Schedule and Pass the PSI Exam: Register at test-takers.psiexams.com. Pay $121 exam fee. Pass both National (75/100) and State (39/52) sections.
Find a Sponsoring Broker: Secure affiliation with an active Georgia-licensed real estate broker.
Submit License Application to GREC: Submit application with $170 fee (cashier's check/money order), proof of education, background check, Lawful Presence form. Must apply within 12 months of passing exam.
Complete 25-Hour Post-License Course: Within first year of licensure, complete a GREC-approved 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course. Failure causes automatic license lapse.
