Everything you need to know about transferring your electrician license from Oregon to California
California does NOT offer reciprocity for individual electrician certifications. Out-of-state electricians must pass the California DIR certification exam. However, an out-of-state license may satisfy the experience requirement to sit for the exam. The CSLB C-10 contractor license has limited reciprocity with Arizona, Louisiana, Nevada, and North Carolina (trade exam waived but Law & Business exam required).
