These are the standard licensing steps in Washington. As a licensed cna from California, you may already satisfy some of these requirements.
Complete a DOH-approved Nursing Assistant Training Program (minimum 108 hours: 35 classroom + 33 skills lab + 40 clinical)
Complete fingerprint-based background check if required
Register for the NNAAP competency exam through Credentia
Pass both the knowledge test (70 questions) and the skills evaluation
Submit NAC credential application and $85 fee to Washington DOH
Receive Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) credential
