Nevada has the most complex pre-license education structure in the country: 64 SEMESTER COLLEGE CREDITS (or experience equivalent at 16 credits per 2 years licensed, max 64 credits / 8 years), with the 45-hr Broker Management course (NV-specific) NOT substitutable by experience. Initial license is 1 year, then 2-year renewal cycles. 30-hr post-license must be CLASSROOM ONLY in first renewal period. Subsequent renewal CE is 36 hrs (NOT 24 as previously documented), including 6-hr Broker Management requirement specific to brokers. Reduced 12-hr CE available for age 65+ with 30+ years licensed. Reciprocity is SALESPERSON level only — broker license cannot be obtained reciprocally.
