Per 21 NCAC 57A.0204(d), must be completed between October 1 of an odd-numbered year and June 1 of an even-numbered year
NC-specific effective date: courses must be taken on or after June 1, 2025 and completed by May 31, 2027 — courses taken before June 1, 2025 do NOT count. First-cycle 7 hrs, subsequent 4 hrs per AQB 2026 criteria

Notes
28 hrs over 2-year cycle. UNUSUAL TIMING: CE must be complete by May 31 of every odd-numbered year (not Dec 31). Licenses expire June 30 of odd years. NC adopted Valuation Bias requirement ahead of the AQB 2026 schedule — effective June 1, 2025 with May 31, 2027 completion deadline; courses taken before June 1, 2025 do not count toward this requirement.
