28 hrs over 2-year cycle. Licenses expire Dec 31 of odd-numbered years. NJ requires 2-hr state Law and Rules course within the 28 (effective Jan 1, 2016). Trainees require 14 hrs/year (1-year cycle) instead of 28/2yr.
