Notes
18 hrs over 2-year license-anniversary cycle. Texas was a Phase 1c fallback state — total_ce_hours 18 confirmed correct via TREC primary source; cycle_anchor updated from null to license_anniversary. Breakdown: 4 Legal Update I + 4 Legal Update II + 3 Contract-Related + 7 electives. NEW JAN 1 2026 RULE (TX SB 1968): All brokers must take the 6-hr Broker Responsibility Course regardless of sponsor/supervision status (was supervisor-only before). This reduces broker electives to 1 hr. First renewals require a separate 270-hr Sales Agent Apprentice Education (SAE) structure instead of standard CE.
