To renew your Louisiana real estate license, you must complete 12 hours of continuing education every 1 year, including Louisiana Mandatory Topic. Renewal fees are $100. Timely renewal: August 1 – September 30. CE must be completed by December 31. License expires December 31 if not renewed. Most agents complete CE online through an approved provider.

Must complete 45-hour post-license education within 180 days of initial licensure. Post-license hours satisfy 8 of the 12 CE hours for initial renewal year. Post-license hours do NOT satisfy mandatory CE topic requirements.
